Dash Releases
ddxSuite v4
For Faster, Easier Automated Document Delivery
and More Control
SUSSEX, WI (Date) — Business software developer DASH, Inc., announces
the release of ddxConnection v4. This new program from DASH manages the
delivery and filing of the documents produced by business software in
any size company. ddxConnection’s job is to connect the company
to the “outside world” with efficiency and speed — making
it even easier for companies to automatically deliver documents to
customers, vendors, and employees.
Most companies deal with a veritable flood of paper from their computer
systems — invoices, purchase orders, quotes, and much more. This
is a necessary part of business; however, when ddxConnection is
linked to business software, users simply "print" their business
documents. The documents are automatically “delivered” — faxed,
emailed and/or printed — using the company’s address book.
For software developers and suppliers, ddxConnection provides an
interface that permits easy and flexible integration to business
software that produces all of these paper documents.
Milwaukee-based ERP Software supplier WorkWise, Inc. felt the
price, features, and ease of interface were so attractive, they
embedded ddxConnection in their TCM® business software product.
Wayne Wedell, WorkWise, Inc. President, stated, “Our customers
are very pleased with Dash products, principally because they
achieve a fast ROI through automation of their document handling. With
the new release of Dash ddxConnection v4, our customers will have even
more incentives to enhance their document business processes.”
In
addition, Dash’s ddxSuite of products also offers the ddxArchive
feature — a powerful imaging and document-management tool that
provides the safe archival of almost any document or file … from
virtually any source. When combined with ddxConnection, documents
are automatically archived for easy, ultra-fast retrieval at any
time.
"What makes our ddxConnection v4 unique is the combination of normal
business operations it handles automatically, plus its ability to “plug
in” to a company’s existing business system" said Jim
Van Hecke, DASH president. "With the DASHddx suite our users have
in one package the power to send documents, file them, and find them
later — without expending any effort. Labor, postage, and space
requirements are reduced dramatically.”
New developments include multithreaded processing for fast delivery,
an expanded list for supported types of out — including PDF support;
easy form creation, precise document format control; and enhanced email
integration. Users can also view a complete log and status of all documents
processed. Dash has also expanded interface options to give software
developers more control.
Of particular interest is the attractively affordable price — well
within the budget range of the small-to-medium-size company.
Dash, Inc., a privately held software company located in Sussex, Wisconsin,
focuses on providing software solutions. DASH supplies imaging and
document-management software, Internet applications, web site development,
and custom software.
