+Series: Managing Multi-Company/Location inventory

Do you struggle managing your inventory because you have multiple companies, plants or locations? Do you need to track and plan for inventory that’s in-transit? Or do you manufacture components in one location for consumption in a different location?

Dash can simplify your day-to-day operation with our +Series Multi-Location / Multi-Company enhancements for WorkWise's TCM™. We have solved many of these same problems for TCM customers before – streamlining their operations, and giving them greater visibility and control than ever before.

jetStream mfg Tip

jetStream is great as a visual scheduling tool, with it's drag-and-drop planning and instant feedback loop – from TCM’s Customer Orders and back to Inventory (more to come on this in our next news letter). Here are some tips to make it even easier:

» Schedule groups of operations or orders: Simply select the operations you want to schedule, or move (Ctrl-Click for multiple selections). Then drag and drop them into the Work Center and time-frame you wish.

» Use Production Periods: You can define production periods, like a week, easily in jetStream. The period boundaries then display on your planning board. This can also be helpful when using the Auto Re-sequence function by restricting the movement of operations within their expected production period.

Hint: Using ddxConsole Filters

If you are a ddxConnect user, "filters" give you an easy way to limit the log entries on your screen. You can set these limits by any field, or fields, available in the log. So, for example, you can have a filter than displays only the documents that you printed, or displays only Invoices, etc.
