Dash releases ddxDesktop Fax software

SUSSEX, WI Sept 8, 2004 — Business software developer Dash, Inc., announces the release of ddx Desktop Fax™ software. With ddx Desktop Fax, Windows users can send faxes directly from programs such as Word® or Excel® through one central fax “server”.

The new product uses Dash’s ddx Connection™ to provide centralized, enterprise-level faxing capabilities. ddx Connection’s job is to connect a business to the “outside world” with efficiency and speed — making it easy for companies to automatically deliver documents to customers, vendors, and employees directly from their current business system or Enterprise software.

ddxDesktop Fax extends this ability to enable anyone in the entire company to use and share a single fax “server” which eliminates the need for phone lines for each sender. It sends professional looking faxes, and works with key business applications from any PC. ddx Desktop Fax is also integrated with Microsoft’s Outlook® and Exchange® to provide a complete phonebook.

ddx Desktop Fax enhances any businesses ability to reach out and communicate from any PC in the company inexpensively” said Jim Van Hecke, Dash president. “It builds on the ddx Suite of document delivery and management products by providing yet another easy and inexpensive way for people to communicate with their business partners.”

With the addition of ddx Desktop Fax, Dash’s ddx Suite makes a compelling choice for any business to move towards automated, centralized document delivery and management.
